On March 22nd all of or third and fourth graders went to watch an English theatre play called “Virtual Heroes” at the Kultursaal in Sillian.
They play is about two teenagers called Rita and Kevin who don’t really like each other. Both start playing an online game called “Fantasycraft”. Their cyber characters are on a quest to find a golden sphinx in the Egytiptian pyramids. They are falling in love without knowing who the person in front of the computer really is. One day they discover their true identity and break off contact, but they really miss each other. When the class visits the British museum, they are assigned to each other and get stuck in the lift. Kevin manages to get the lift moving again and they successfully stand up to two bullies called Aaron and Sharon. In the end they become friends and are boyfriend and girlfriend in real life – a happy ending!
Here are some reviews:
“The actor who played Kevin was the best. He pronounced the words very nicely and spoke clearly. He was also really funny and we liked the scenes with the banana.” – Niklas, Thomas, Benjamin, 3b
“I don’t like love stories so much, but the play was still great. The put a lot of effort into it.” – Dominik, 3a
“Personally I don’t like romantic movies or plays that much. But for the fact that I don’t really like it, it was really good! They were also really good actors.” – Jona, 3a
“The stage was a little disappointing because it didn’t change at all.” Petra, 3b
“It was funny but their English was also a little difficult to understand.” – Sophie, 4b
“I really liked their British English accent.” – Nico, 3b
“The actors and actresses had very nice outfits.” – Benjamin, 3b
“I liked the parts where Kevin was funny – for example when he was daydreaming.” – Moritz, 3a
“I really liked their acting skills. But I think that the ending would be improvable, for example: they didn’t mention anything about the online game anymore! I wanted to know what happened with Crouch, Bent and the golden sphinx.” – Francesca, 4b
“The acting was very intense.” – Jonas B., 4b
